Shoot for SYNGAP1 Details

Aim for a cure at the inaugural Shoot for SYNGAP1 clay shoot at Purgatory Clay Sports in Hurricane, Utah. Enjoy the morning shooting sporting clays in a friendly competition and supporting a great cause. A light breakfast is included, and a local food truck will have lunch options available for purchase. Stick around for our post-shoot awards ceremony and prize drawings to celebrate our winners and champion the SYNGAP1 community!

Our featured fundraiser is a 100-target, 12-station sporting clays tournament designed for shooters of all skill levels. Whether you're an experienced shooter or trying sporting clays for the first time, everyone is welcome.

100% of net proceeds from Shoot for SYNGAP1 benefit CURE SYNGAP1 to fund life-changing research and support families navigating a diagnosis.

• Purgatory Clay Sports is located at Southern Utah Shooting Sports Park, just west of the Regional Fair Grounds.
• 15 minutes from St. George, Utah and only a few minutes off of I-15.

Participation Information:

• Participants may register for the Shoot for SYNGAP1 fundraiser, any of Purgatory's additional competitions, or both.

Deadline:

• Please register by November 7, 2026.

  Start your morning with complimentary donuts and coffee while you check in and get ready for the shoot.

• Shotgun
• Ammunition: Minimum of 100 shotgun shells. Ammo is available for purchase at the club house.
• Ear & Eye Protection: Provided in your event bag at check-in, or you're welcome to bring your own if preferred.
• Clothes: Wear comfortable shoes or boots for walking the course (no sandals or open-toed shoes), and clothing that allows free movement. A hat is also recommended.

In addition to our fundraiser, Purgatory Clay Sports will be hosting several optional competitions throughout the day. You're welcome to participate in one or all of these events.
