Dress Code
Spotlight is a semi-formal evening. Guests are encouraged to dress for an elegant night out while feeling comfortable and confident.
What is Semi-Formal?
Semi-formal attire is polished and appropriate for a special evening, without the formality of black tie. A suit, dress shirt, jacket, dress pants, cocktail dress, dressy separates, formal jumpsuit, or similar evening attire would all be appropriate.
Ties are welcome but not required. Guests may also add subtle touches inspired by the evening's Spotlight theme, such as metallic accents, elegant accessories, or classic evening colors.
A Few Simple Guidelines
Appropriate Options
- Suits, sport coats, or blazers
- Dress shirts, dress pants, or tailored separates
- Cocktail dresses, formal jumpsuits, or dressy separates
- Dress shoes, heels, flats, or other polished footwear
- Elegant accessories or subtle spotlight-inspired accents
Best to Avoid
- Jeans or casual shorts
- T-shirts, sweatshirts, or athletic wear
- Sneakers, flip-flops, or overly casual footwear
- Costumes or anything that may distract from the evening's purpose
The goal is simple: dress for a meaningful celebration that honors Vista's mission, the individuals and families we serve, and the community of supporters who make this work possible.
