AUCTION RULES 

1) All silent and live auction items are sold "as-is."  While every reasonable effort has been made to describe each item accurately, inadvertent mistakes can occur.  

2) Values listed, if any, of items offered for auction are donor's estimates and are not warranted by Camp Marymount. 

  
3) A bid constitutes a legal contract to buy. You are required to pay for items for which you were the successful bidder. All sales are final. Items are transferable but cannot be exchanged by Camp Marymount or the donor unless specifically noted that this is permitted   

4). Please be aware of and adhere to item expiration dates. Please do not request extensions from the donor.   

5) Buyers and those using the purchased items assume all responsibility for the item's use. Camp Marymount is not liable for injuries, losses, or other claims from the redemption or use of any auction item. 

6) Camp Marymount reserves the right to withdraw any item before or during the sale and shall have no liability whatsoever for such withdrawal.   

7) Camp Marymount reserves the right to reject any bid.  The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer during the LIVE auction will be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders, or in the event of doubt on the part of Camp Marymount as to the validity of the bid, the auctioneer will have final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute. If a dispute arises after the sale, Camp Marymount records are conclusive.  

8) All items must be paid for on the evening of the event. You have the opportunity to process your cart/checkout at your convenience for one hour after the auction closes. Thereafter, all purchases will be cleared by the credit card on file in the the GiveSmart software. 

9) All items must be picked up on May 1 at the gala or on Monday May 4 at camp between 10AM and 4PM.  Select items are available for shipping; buyer pays all shipping if camp if able to ship the item.   Items not claimed within 7 days will sold to the next highest bidder.
