Meet the Crew

Tristan

Meet Tristan, our competitive team lead for the Race to Alaska.

He's gone from racing Optis in his childhood to mastering the Flying Scot, and he's not shy about business on deck (IYKYK). He's always ready to tackle challenges head-on.

With experience from charters in Vineyard Sound to the Caribbean, his drive for victory often leads to wild shenanigans and questionable choices.

Ben

Say ahoy to Ben, our adventurous team member for the Race to Alaska

With a background racing 420s and a stint as captain of his high school sailing team, he's mastered the art of handling a boat-and the inevitable mishaps that come with it.

His time on a Catalina 30 opened the door to big boat sailing, and his charters in Vineyard Sound and the Caribbean have provided him with invaluable experience and some epic stories.

Thanks to recent sleepless nights with a newborn, he's ready to embrace nighttime racing. Plus, living in landlocked Colorado just makes him more eager to hit the water.

Vlad

Meet Vlad, aka "Vlad the Rad Dad"

He took his first sail at 12 on Trout Pond in the Adirondacks and more recently raced Flying Scots with his wife, Damienne, on the Long Island Sound. Now he's ready to swap the kiddie pool for the ultimate thrill: the Race to Alaska!

Cruising with cocktails may be more his style, but he's gearing up to trade leisurely sailing for some serious "hold-my-beer" adventure.

Sebastien

Get to know Sebastien, aka "Sea Bass." He started with Optis as a kid and now drops in on Flying Scot races just to whoop his parents' asses.

With experience on a couple charters, he's not just about the sails; he keeps our meals flavorful and knows how to soothe homesick skippers with a forehead kiss (or two).

Mast-climber by day, poop logistics manager by necessity-this guy does it all. When he's not sailing, you'll find him conquering mountains or tearing up the slopes.
