GOAL

"I'm incredibly proud of the community Ranch Chic has become and of the incredible people who continue to show up, give back and make a difference.

It's been such a meaningful part of my journey, and I'm excited to see this next chapter bring together a new generation of leaders who will carry that spirit forward."

- Michal Waechter, 2026 Honorary Ranch Chic Ambassador

Why I Support the American Cancer Society

Cancer has touched my family in more ways than I ever could have imagined. My mother has faced cancer, as have my father and my father-in-law. Through their experiences, I've seen firsthand the fear, uncertainty, and strength that come with a cancer diagnosis-and the profound impact it has on the entire family.

These experiences have made the mission of the American Cancer Society deeply personal to me. I believe in supporting the research that moves us closer to better treatments and cures, while also ensuring that people facing cancer today have access to the information, resources, transportation, lodging, and support they need throughout their journey.

Ranch Chic has given me the opportunity to bring people together around a cause that means so much to me. I'm proud to stand alongside a community that celebrates survivors, honors those we've lost, and continues to show up for families facing cancer.

I support the American Cancer Society because cancer is too big to face alone. Together, we can bring hope, make a difference, and help end cancer as we know it-for everyone.

Why this Matters

Your support allows the American Cancer Society to continue:

   Advocacy
Fighting cancer in city halls, statehouses, and Congress by elevating the patient voice to advance policy change through the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN)

   Patient Support
Ensuring no one feels alone at any point on their cancer journey, from prevention to survivorship, and, for some, the end of life.

   Discovery
Investing in breakthrough science to find more - and better - treatments, uncover factors that may cause cancer, and improve patients' quality of life.

   Health Equity
Ensuring that all people have a fair and just opportunity to prevent, find, treat, and survive cancer. ACS and ACS CAN believe all people should have a fair and just opportunity to live a longer, healthier life free from cancer regardless of how much money they make, the color of their skin, their sexual orientation, gender identity, their disability status, or where they live.
