FAQ'S


Registration: On the day of the event, please go directly to Brae Burn Country Club to check-in at your assigned time.  We will be offering shotguns at 8am and 1pm. Time assignments will be announced closer to the golf outing. 

Meals: Breakfast and lunch will be served for the 8am shotgun time. Lunch will be served for the 2 pm shotgun time.  

We will be serving a formal lunch in the ballroom at 12, at which time Stew and Kim will speak and receive this year's check.  We will have cocktail hour at 6:30 but no dinner to follow. 

Arrival/Bag Drop: When you arrive at the course, please use the bag drop on the property. Staff will be happy to assist with your clubs, which will be given to the caddy assigned to you for the day. You will be directed to the parking lot and given directions toward the appropriate locker room.

Locker Room Facilities: Brae Burn has a locker room that you may use. Club staff will direct you there, to practice facilities, lunch and your caddy who will assist with any other questions you may have.

Golf Tournament Rules of Play: This golf outing will be a Scramble format. Each team player hits from the tee box, then the team members choose the best of the four shots for the next shot. All team members then play the second shot from that location and again choose the best shot. Play continues in this manner until the hole is completed. Should any changes to the format of the event be made, registrants will be notified in advance.

Caddies + Golf Carts: Stew Leonard III Water Safety Foundation is covering the cost for the caddies, including tips.  Two golf carts per foursome will be provided.

Club Attire: Guests must dress in a manner appropriate to the game and the surroundings, including the practice areas. Men's shorts should be no shorter than just above the knee. Shirts must be tucked in and must have collars. Mock turtleneck golf shirts are acceptable. Shirts designed to be worn out are permitted to be worn that way. Cargo shirts, shorts or pants with outer pockets, low riders and baggy shorts are not permitted. Women's shirts should have sleeves or a collar. Jeans, bathing attire, T-shirts, short shorts, gym shorts or tennis clothes are not permissible for men or women on the golf course or practice areas.

Virtual Auction/Prize Drawings: We are holding a virtual auction that will go live a week before the golf outing and close during the cocktail hour of the event.  We will have incredible prizes you can bid on, including dinner at exclusive restaurants, fabulous bottles of wines and fun experiences. During the event, we'll also sell tickets for prize drawings for an assortment of amazing items. Please contact Kelly Arena at karena@stewleonards.com if you have items you would like to donate to either the auction or prize drawings.  If winner is not present to collect their prize at end of night, we will reach out and arrange pickup from closest Stew Leonard's.  

Weather: Please note, the event is rain or shine and there are no refunds. Should the event be rained out, every possible effort will be made to re-schedule or offer alternative dates to play.
