What's included with my ticket?
An individual ticket includes a dinner and a complimentary drink. You will also receive "fun money" for game chips to enjoy our Casino Night tables after dinner. Casino tables are for entertainment purposes only. No real money will be used, and no cash prizes will be awarded. Each ticket is $150, and a portion of ticket purchases directly benefits the Breakaway Foundation. Ticket sales close on Sunday, September 20th at 11:59 p.m.
Should I buy a table?
Buying a table guarantees your party's seating together and reserves a table with preferred seating for 10. It includes two complimentary bottles of wine, 10 meals, 10 drink tickets, game chips for 10 people to try their hand at casino games, and designated signage for your family name or business. Each table is $2,000, and a portion of table purchases directly benefit the Breakaway Foundation. Table sales close on Sunday, September 20th at 11:59 p.m.
How does seating work?
With an individual ticket, you will enjoy preassigned seating but may not guarantee seating with your group. Couples will be seated together.
Tables of 10 are available for purchase and will guarantee your party sits together.
There is plenty of seating for everyone during our short program and dinner. And don't worry, there will be plenty of time for mingling during the reception and after dinner!
How can I pre-order wine for my table?
You may pre-purchase bottles of wine that will be delivered to your table during dinner. Make your purchase online when you buy your ticket or table. The last day to pre-buy bottles of wine is Sunday, September 20th at 11:59 pm. Day-of wine bottle purchases are not available.
How do I buy drink tickets?
Pre-buy drink tickets and non-alcoholic beverage tickets when you buy your ticket or table. The last day to pre-buy drink tickets is Sunday, September 20th at 11:59 pm. Tickets will be available for pick up upon check-in at the event. You may also buy drink tickets at the door.
Should I bring cash or a credit card?
Drink tickets (either prepaid or purchased at the door) are the only acceptable payment method at the bar.
Be prepared for your purchase of beverages by buying your drink tickets in advance, or at the door using cash or Venmo.
You may also want to bring cash or use Venmo to participate in fundraising games.
Credit cards and checks are accepted for auction purchases.
There is no ATM on site.
What do I wear?
Casual Cocktail Attire is recommended. This style of attire lies between cocktail and business casual. The Party with a Purpose is a semi-casual party where there is no need to be extravagantly dressed. For ladies, we recommend a comfortable dress, skirt, or pants paired with a blouse and accessories. For men, an oxford shirt (with or without a sport coat) worn with khakis or dress pants is appropriate. No ties are required.
This year's Party includes a Casino Night. Feel free to embrace the spirit of the night with your best casino-inspired attire -- think sparkle and glitz of Las Vegas! Wear whatever makes you feel fabulous while you try your luck at the tables. Dress share, have fun, and get ready for an unforgettable evening of games, prizes, and celebration!
Can I come to the Party with a Purpose just for fun?
Yes, please! The more, the merrier! The purpose is to raise funds that will help enhance the student experience at Breakaway Academy and bring our community together for a night of fellowship. By simply buying a ticket to attend, you contribute to the Breakaway Foundation, where all proceeds go directly to projects impacting our students.
What are the fundraising games and raffles?
Get ready to play and win! Buy game tickets for a chance to take home some prizes. Must be present to win.
When does the silent auction open and close?
The silent auction opens for bidding on Friday, September 18th at 9:00 am and closes on Friday, September 25th at 7:00 pm. There is a countdown clock on the item page showing how long is left until the item closes. We have a fantastic online site, where you can set up which items you'd like to watch, and set your max bids. Let auto bid do the work for you!
Can I bid on silent auction items even if I don't attend the Party with a Purpose?
You do not need to attend the Party with a Purpose to bid on silent auction items. That's the benefit of hosting it online. Items will be available for pickup at Breakaway Academy the week after the event.
Should I share the link to the online auction with my family & friends?
We'd love for you to share the link to the auction website with others. Bidding is open to anyone. Check back on September 18th for a shareable link.
I'm unable to attend. How do I bid on live auction items?
If there is a live auction item you've got your eye on, then you must be present to bid, or you can ask a friend in attendance to do your bidding by proxy. They can bid on your behalf, up to the maximum bid you specify.
Is there valet parking?
Complimentary valet parking is provided to all guests of the Breakaway Foundation Party with a Purpose.
Is this event open to the public?
This event is open to the public.
Are children invited?
The Party with a Purpose is for parents, staff, family, and friends to enjoy a kid-free night of fun and camaraderie.
