How does the silent auction work?

We will be using mobile bidding starting August 14, 2026. You will be able to use your smartphone, tablet, or computer to keep up with the status of your bids and continue bidding until the auction closes on the evening of August 22, 2026.

How do I participate in the online bidding auction? 

Simply click on the 'Register Now' button on the home page or on any auction item.  You will need to enter your name, phone number, and email.  Credit Card information is required to bid.  

How do I start and continue my bidding?

Browse the Silent Auction and start bidding on your favorite items.  Place your bid on selected items, set a maximum bid if desired and GiveSmart will continue to keep you in the running your maximum bid is reached.  You can 'favorite' any item that you want to keep an eye on, but not initially bid on.  

How will I be notified if I am outbid or won an item? 

You will be notified via text if you have been outbid.  If you are NOT receiving text messages, make sure you have the correct mobile number under your profile. The texts will continue to notify you when you have been outbid or reached your maximum bid.  When the silent auction closes, you will receive a text message if you have won any items.  

How will I collect my winnings? 

Auction winners are required to make payments the night of the event.  Please note that you will have the choice to either pay credit card fees yourself or allocate them to Team Chad.   Your items will be available to pick up immediately following the event's presentation at the registration table or you can coordinate a pickup/delivery with Emily Walker, emily@teamchad.us.
