About the Fire Family Foundation 

The Fire Family Foundation is the charitable arm of Firefighters First Credit union, and exists to protect the hearts behind the heroes.

While firefighters are trained to run toward danger, the emotional toll of the job often follows them home. Trauma, chronic stress, and silent struggles impact not only the firefighters, but also their spouses, children, and loved ones. The Fire Family Foundation is dedicated to providing vital mental and emotional support to fire families - creating connection, peer support, and resources that strengthen resilience, provide hope and foster healing.

We believe no firefighter and no family member should suffer in silence. By breaking stigma, fostering honest conversations, and ensuring accessible support, we are building a culture where asking for help is seen as strength - and where every fire family knows they are never alone.
