Annual Steve Young Ski Classic Silent and Virtual Auction Information and FAQ's

Bidding will go live on Friday, March 20 and will close on Saturday, March 28 at 7:00pm, MT.


How does the virtual and silent auction work?

The SYSC Classic will be using mobile bidding the week before and the night of the live event being held at The Cliff Resort in Snowbird UT. You will be able to use your smartphone, tablet or computer to keep up with the status of your bids and continue bidding until the auction closes. You can be the winning bidder wherever you are in the world!

How do I participate in the online bidding auction?

Get started online through this auction page. Just hit the "Register Now" button towards the top of this page and enter your name, phone number, email and mailing address. Credit card information is required to bid.

How do I start and continue my bidding?

Browse the Silent Auction and start bidding on your favorite items. Place your bid on selected items, set a maximum bid if desired, and GiveSmart will continue to keep you in the running until you reach your maximum bid.

How do I find items that may be of interest to me?

Items have been categorized in the following areas: Clothing, Destination, Gear, Gift Shop, Local and Footwear. Further subcategories for searching include: Accommodation, Dining, Lift Tickets, Helmets, Goggles, Skis, Racks, Outdoor Fun, Backpacks, Grills, Luggage, Jewelry, Theater, Boots, Hiking Shoes, Sandals, Socks, Men's, Women's. 

How can I keep active and know if I am outbid or have won an item?

You will be notified via text if you have been outbid. Keep an eye on your favorite items! If you are NOT receiving the text messages make sure you have the correct mobile number under your profile. The texts will continue to notify you when you have been outbid or reached your maximum bid. When the virtual and silent auction closes, you will also receive a text message if you won any items.

How will I collect my winnings?

Auction winners are required to make payment the night of the event. Please note you will have the choice to either pay credit card fees yourself or allocated them to The SYSC Classic. All auction items are currently being stored at The Cliff Resort, Snowbird UT. If you are at the live event we request you claim your items after the evening event ends. For those bidding virtually; this merchandise will be at the Wasatch Adaptive Sports Murry office. Items will be available for pick up or shipment.  Pick up will be available in the office the week after the auction:

Tuesday, March 31 - Friday, April 3 from 10:00am-4:00pm.

If you prefer your items be mailed, the cost of shipping will be at the expense of the bidder. All items not picked up by April 3rd will be mailed on April 6th. Shipping charges will be applied to the credit card on file.

When will my credit card be charged for my winning bid?

GiveSmart/Was will be charging winning bidders cards after the event. For those who have items shipped, the shipping charges will be applied after items are shipped.
