What happens that night?:   

  • It's a super fun evening, emceed by the one and only Dusty Riley (Not'Cho Grandma's Bingo).
  • Teams of 3, sponsored local community partners, compete to show off their smarts and win some awesome prizes.
  • Top teams advance to the Championship Round  (trophy & prizes!!)
  • We have so much fun while raising money!  


How do I get on a team?

Have a local business that you know sponsor a team.  Teams can be made up of your own staff OR we fill the team with local educators who are really excited to represent our community partners and participate in such a fun event. If you are a local educator who would like to be on a team, reach out to us (fundraising@blpedfoundation.org) and we will get you on our list of participants. 


Who should attend this fun and impactful event?  Local Community Members, School District Supporters, Sponsors, BLSD employees, educators and fans!


When and Where does the fun happen?    Wednesday, May 20th, 2026 Silver Moon Brewing

                                                                        Doors open at 5 so you can grab dinner and drinks, competition begins at 6. 


Why should I attend this event?   

All proceeds to to support our Classroom Enrichment Program which grants funds to benefit the Students & Educators in the Bend-La Pine School District (Bend, La Pine & Sunriver).  The more Funds we raise, the more grants we can fund and the more students we can directly impact.


What else should I know? 

  • Admission is FREE so your entire staff and friends can come and cheer on the teams.  We just ask that you register to attend.
  • Prizes for Best Team Name and Best Team Costume.  Time to get creative!
  • Team Advantages available to help extra points. Each team has the opportunity to get a little help to advance further in the competition by using their team advantages which are included with a team sponsorship: a "Freebie", a  "Phone a Friend" (have a smart friend in the audience to help you out) and a chance to "Double Down" (double your points with a correct answer).
  • Raffle Tickets! There are some amazing raffle prizes including a trip for 2 from Alaska Airlines!  Prizes range from $500-$2500.   Raffle tickets: One for $20 and six for $100. Be sure to get your chance to win!
  •  Audience Participation Games, Food Trucks & Drink Specials
  • Grant Recipients will be in attendance showcasing their projects and sharing the impact of the grants
  • Each team member receives a food voucher to enjoy dinner at one of the delicious food trucks and a drink ticket to try our signature cocktail "The Smarty Pants"
