WHAT IS A TABLE HOST?
Table hosts are IslandWood ambassadors! They help spread the word about the event, invite friends and family to take part, and inspire guests to support IslandWood's environmental education programming. You can share your passion for IslandWood's mission in one of three ways: invite guests to join you at a table on our Bainbridge Island campus, host guests in your home for a watch party to view the broadcast program, or invite guests to join you virtually for an online watch party. All hosts will receive a special gift from IslandWood as a thank you for your support!
WHAT ARE THE EXPECTATIONS OF A TABLE HOST?
In-person table hosts: Purchase a table for Dinner in the Woods by clicking here. Tables on our Bainbridge Island campus have seats for eight or ten guests. Once you've selected from our menu of tickets and/or items for purchase, you may enter your guest information and indicate your group (table) name. If you don't have your guest list finalized, you can leave the attendee information blank and log back into your account to make updates whenever you're ready. Once you've entered your guest's contact information, they'll receive a link to accept their ticket, create an account, and update any missing registration information.
If you're coordinating a table and guests are purchasing their tickets separately, please indicate a table/group name when making reservations so we can seat you all together. If you need assistance with your registration, email us at philanthropy@islandwood.org or call us at 206.855.4349, and we'll create your group (table) for you!
Online hosts: Engage friends, family, or colleagues to join you for the event! Since you have the option to attend virtually, there is no limit to how many guests can "sit at your table." Invite past event guests, and people who have not attended but would be interested in supporting IslandWood. Use the sample language and electronic invitation provided below.
