Event Recap: Albany Symphony's Summer Soiree 2025

Friday, June 6, 2025 | EMPAC

At last year's Summer Soiree, guests enjoyed a lovely night of music, dinner, and drinks with Music Director David Alan Miller, Executive Director Emily Fritz-Endres, performing artists, composers, and Albany Symphony musicians.

The evening began with an electrifying performance by the Dogs of Desire. Many exciting items were auctioned off, including a private dinner prepared by a highly renowned chef, group bowling at the Albany Black Chamber of Commerce, and beautiful hand-crafted artwork.

The event honored the late Dr. Thomas and Mrs. Anne Older and M&T Bank with the Community Standing Ovation Awards, which recognize individuals and community partners that have gone above and beyond in supporting the mission of the Albany Symphony and the arts in our region.

Thank you so much to guests, sponsors, and partners who made this an incredibly successful event, raising over $120,000 to support the Albany Symphony! We hope you will join us for another thrilling Soiree this year.
