The Devou Park Trail Collective looks forward to welcoming you to the 2026 Party in the Park!
This event supports the 16 miles of natural surface trail throughout Devou Park.
We've put together the following FAQs to help you prepare for the event:
Q: I'm an event sponsor! How do I prepare my guests for the event?
A: Thank you for this support of the Devou Park Trails! The most important thing you can do is to make sure you digitally assign the tickets that come with sponsorship. This allows each of your guests to note any food allergies on their digital ticket, browse auction items in advance of the actual event, and directly receive any important event-related updates that we may need to send. It also allows for quicker check-in at the event.
If your team doesn't plan to use all the tickets included with sponsorship, please let us know by 4/10 so we can plan accordingly when submitting our final headcount to the venue.
Q: What should I wear?
A: No fancy attire expected at this party! Business casual is the official dress code, but wear what makes you feel best. We want our guests comfortable - and ready to dance!
Q: Where's the party?
A: We'll be in the Devou Park Golf and Event Center, which shares space with the Devou Park Golf Course Clubhouse. This is not the same space as the Drees Pavilion, which is at the other side of the park. So please make sure you don't crash someone else's event. 😉
Q: What's the parking situation?
A: There's ample parking in the event center's surface lot. If that lot fills up, there are additional parking spots across the road.
Q: What type of food will be served?
A: Village Pantry Catering has put together a delicious menu of dinner and dessert stations. In addition to a charcuterie display to start things off, guests will also enjoy a pasta station, slider bar, and chili totchos, along with assorted mini desserts. All food stations will include signage indicating which options are available for vegans, vegetarians, and gluten-free guests.
Q: What about drinks?
A: Beer, wine, and soda are complimentary throughout the event. Liquor-based cocktails can be purchased, but please note it is truly a cash bar - credit cards are not accepted. (There is, however, an ATM inside the venue in case you forget to bring cash with you.)
Q: Did you send me my tickets?
A: We digitally check in guests at the door, so your name is your ticket! When you arrive, one of our volunteers will check you in via a laptop or tablet. If your guest for the evening has changed and you haven't yet reassigned their ticket in the event portal, please notify us at devouparktrailcollective@gmail.com so we can make the adjustment ahead of check-in. Please note: Our ability to update names on your behalf will be limited on event day due to other obligations.
Q: Will there be music?
A: Of course! DJ Dave from Wild Mountain Entertainment will be playing some fantastic music to keep you dancing throughout the evening.
Q: Is there assigned seating?
A: Since this isn't a seated dinner, we don't have assigned seating. So whether you prefer to be close to the action or hang out in the back, you get to pick where you sit.
Q: Will there be a presentation?
A: Yes! We have a brief presentation planned for 8:00PM. You'll hear from Devou Park Trail Collective board chair Chad Irey.
Q: What if I have a question you didn't answer?
A: Please email devouparktrailcollective@gmail.com and we'll do our best to respond in a timely manner. As we get closer to the big day, please keep in mind that we'll be putting the final touches on our event, so we can't guarantee a quick response.
