I choose to fundraise and stay involved with the GenNow Network because cancer has touched my life in ways that are hard to put into words. Like so many people, my family and personal experiences with cancer have shaped me, and being a part of this community gives me a way to channel that into something hopeful and impactful. Through GenNow and the American Cancer Society, I've seen firsthand how much good is being done - whether it's through funding research that leads to better treatments and The Hope Lodge which provides housing, meals, and transportation, and for those in active treatment. Supporting this work feels like a way to honor the people I love and my journey, while also helping create a future where fewer people have to have the same experience.
