GOAL

Unfortunately, the "C" word runs in my family. From watching both of my parents battle their own diagnoses to losing several other family members in recent years, cancer has affected me and my family on a deeply personal level. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to supporting individuals and families facing the emotional, mental, and physical hardships that come with this disease.

Professionally, I've dedicated my career to connecting communities with public policies and resources that improve people's lives. I've worked in state government, political campaigns, and now lead government relations and public policy efforts within nonprofit and corporate settings. I hope to use those experiences and skills to support a mission I deeply believe in: ending cancer as we know it.

As a first-generation Bangladeshi-American raised in the diverse communities of South Florida, I've also seen firsthand the healthcare disparities many communities of color face when seeking care. By supporting the American Cancer Society and GenNow, I hope to help break down those barriers so that families never have to suffer in silence.

Thank you for supporting me and joining this fight. Together, we can help end the "C" word for future generations.
