Hi! My name is Emily Huber and I joined the American Cancer Society's GenNow network in 2024. GenNow is a group of young professionals focused on making a real impact in the fight against cancer through fundraising, advocacy, and supporting research and patient resources. I was drawn to the group because cancer has deeply impacted my family through close relatives and friends who have battled the disease. Their experiences have inspired me to support others facing similar challenges.
In my career I work with families planning for their futures, and I see firsthand how disruptive a cancer diagnosis can be. I value being involved in my community and want to help strengthen efforts that provide support, research, and resources for those affected.
