Hi, my name is Lilly. I'm a recent Master's graduate from Cornell University in Biomedical Engineering and currently work as a Business Development Specialist at a medtech company in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I moved to Philly in August 2025 from London, UK, and shortly after, I decided to join the American Cancer Society's GenNow chapter here; an organization that supports a cause very close to my heart.
When I was 12, I lost my father to a brain tumor in a matter of weeks. He was only 31 years old, and that experience profoundly shaped my perspective on life and how I want to live it. One of my personal goals has always been to give back to organizations that support cancer patients and their families, as I've seen firsthand the meaningful impact these foundations can have on everyone involved.
This year, I'll be participating in a variety of fundraising activities to support this cause, and I would love for you to join me and be a part of this journey. Thank you so much for your support.
