Youth Delegate Registration Information

Middle and high school-age youth are welcome and encouraged to attend Safe Schools, Safe Communities with their families or as delegates representing their school or community-based club or organization (e.g., Black Student Unions, GSA, 4-H, etc.). School and community youth groups are able to register up to five youth delegates for everyone one adult advisor or chaperone. NOTE: Adult advisors and chaperones need to be registered conference attendees.

All young people 3 years-old or older are welcome to attend with a parent/adult guardian. Community-based youth service providers will offer activities throughout the day for younger children.

Youth tickets can be purchased through this website. Club or organization advisors can also collect cash or checks and bring them to the registration table on the 14th. If your club or organization is paying for registration and you need an invoice or other means of payment, please contact brianj@gsafewi.org. Regardless of payment method and timing, please let us know the number of students attending from your club or organization no later than one week before the conference.

All youth attendees must provide a completed Youth Delegate Registration Form. It can be emailed to brianj@gsafewi.org prior to the conference or brought to the registration table on the 14th. In the case a registration form is presented without the signature of a parent/adult guardian, GSAFE staff will attempt to contact a parent/adult guardian listed on the form to gain verbal permission.
