Auction Cash

Auction Cash is limited to use at the Mount Baker Council Auction for the payment of items purchased or won at the auction.  Auction Cash is not legal tender.

The awarded Auction Cash will be attributed to your bill at the end of the night.

BONUS CASH Opportunities:

  • Golden Ticket winner receives $3,500 in Auction Cash.
  • "Buy Now" silent auction drawing receives $500 in Auction Cash.  There will be a drawing at the beginning of the live auction.  Any bidder who wins a silent auction item by "Buy Now" will be entered for a chance at the $500 Auction Cash prize.  A bidder gets one chance for every item purchased at the "Buy Now" price.
  • For every live auction item whose price meets or exceeds 125% of the value of the item, the bidder will receive $100 in Auction Cash.


Auction Rules

  • The highest bids submitted into the online auction are legal contracts to purchase the item.
    Credit cards on file will be charged upon auction end.  If payment is unsuccessful within 72 hours of the close of the auction, any items won may go to the next highest bidder at the discretion of the organization.
  • All purchases made are FINAL and there will be no exchanges or refunds on items unless otherwise noted.
  • The organization reserves the right to add or withdraw items from the auction without notice before final bids are made.
  • The organization neither warrants nor represents, and in no way shall be responsible for, the correctness of descriptions or conditions of items or arrangements.
     

Tax Receipts
You will receive a transaction based receipt once your card is successfully charged.  Tax receipts will be emailed following the auction. 


Pickup/Shipping of Items
All auction items must be picked up in Everett by November 23. Shipping is available at the winners cost. Alcohol must be picked up in Everett.


Administration Fee
There is an optional 3.5% administration/credit card fee on all transactions. You will indicate if you wish to opt out of this fee when you initially register for the auction. Changes after that point need to be made with Emily Shanahan.  Contact Emily.Shanahan@scouting.org.
