2025 Rider Honoree - Regina Schroeder

Regina Schroeder, a passionate advocate for neurological health, is the founder and
CEO of the Mind Brain Philanthropic Foundation (MBPF) who has transformed her
personal experience with Multiple Sclerosis into a powerful platform for change.
Living with MS since 1981, she has dedicated herself to identifying and funding early-
stage neurological research, particularly at institutions like Weill Cornell Medicine,
and has helped raise more than $300,000 for MS research and advocacy since 2012.
In 2023, Regina launched the innovative MS StandUp campaign, a benefit comedy
series at Gotham Comedy Club that blends joy and advocacy to support
underfunded research with breakthrough potential. Beyond her philanthropic
leadership, Regina is a dedicated rider and longtime supporter of GallopNYC, where
she experiences firsthand the healing power of therapeutic horsemanship. Her
unwavering commitment to MS research, embrace of community-based healing, and
ability to transform personal challenge into meaningful change make her an
inspiring leader in both the medical and patient communities.
