SILENT & LIVE AUCTION INFO


Whether you're able to join us at the event or not, you can still help animals in need by participating in this year's silent auction. All bidding is done from your smartphone or computer, so you can bid from anywhere in the world, starting 11/8/25!  
The Silent Auction will run through the close of Whisker Brunch on Saturday, November 15th, at approximately 1:00 p.m. A 5-minute countdown clock banner will be featured on the site so that you can place your final bids. 

Winning bidders attending Whisker Brunch must check out and receive a "PAID" stamp before picking up their items in the silent auction room after the event. For winning bidders not in attendance at Whisker Brunch, post-event auction pick up will occur on Wednesday, November 19th, or during a scheduled appointment with events@hsppr.org.

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship items. 

AUCTION RULES

The silent auction closes at the end of the event, following the Pet Parade, at approximately 1:00 p.m. A countdown clock will appear at the top of the silent auction Items page five minutes before the end of the auction to notify guests of the exact time of the closing of the silent auction. Silent auction items will be ready for pickup in the lobby following the close of our program.  
2. The live auction will begin at approximately 12:20 p.m. Bidders must be present in the ballroom to participate in the live auction.  
3. Please read all restrictions, expiration dates and disclaimers carefully prior to placing a bid.  
4. Bids must be made according to the specified bid increments. Bid increments vary based on the total value of the item.  
5. All winning bids are final. No exchanges or refunds are allowed on items unless otherwise specified.  
6. Payment in full is required at the event. Payment may be made by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. Following the close of the program, guests can use the "Pay" tab or the "Pay" text for self-checkout. An HSPPR representative must handle payments made in a method other than a credit card at the checkout table in the lobby.  
7. Auction items must be collected by the winner by showing a paid receipt on your phone to a volunteer at the silent auction checkout table in the lobby. At the end of the event, unclaimed or unpaid items will be automatically charged to the winning bidder's credit card on file. Items not claimed at the event must be scheduled for pickup with events@hsppr.org. Any items not picked up within 4 months of the event will be released back to HSPPR to be put in future auctions. 
8. Please carefully check envelopes containing gift certificates before leaving the event. We cannot replace lost certificates or vouchers.  
9. All items are sold "as is". We endeavor to catalog and describe all items accurately. No statements contained in the catalog or made orally at the sale or elsewhere shall be deemed a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability.  
10. We reserve the right to withdraw any item from sale.  
11. Items depicted in any presentation are for illustrative purposes and may not represent actual auction items.  
12. Unless otherwise stated, restaurant certificates exclude alcohol, taxes, and gratuities.  
13. Guests must be 21 or older to purchase or bid on alcohol.

REGISTER YOUR CELL PHONE TO BID 
To place bids on silent auction items you must register online at www.whiskerbrunch.org click on the "Register to Participate" button), or text "WHISKER25" to 76278 and follow the prompts from the texts received to register. Once registered, click the link within the "Welcome Text" to access the silent auction.  


BID VIA SMART PHONE 
Click the link in your welcome text message to be directed to the Items page. View items by category or search for an item by number or name. Click an item of interest to view the description as well as the current bid. The next minimum bid is displayed, so simply click "BID". If you would like to place a higher bid, enter a new amount, and click "BID".  


AUTO BID FEATURE 
Enjoy Whisker Brunch without the hassle of watching your phone to see if you've been outbid! To have the system automatically bid for you up to a designated amount, click on the "AUTO BID" tab and enter the maximum amount you would like to bid and click "BID". The system will bid incrementally up to the amount designated when someone places a bid against you. If no one bids against your auto bid, the price remains the same.  


BID VIA TEXT 
To see the current bid, reply to your welcome text with the 3-digit item number. Example: "102," then hit "send". To bid, text the 3-digit item number and amount you would like to bid - no dollar sign ($) needed. Example: "102 300," then hit "send". You placed a $300 bid on item number 102.  


DONATE NOW 
Use the "Click to Donate" button, found on either the Items page or the Donate page to make a donation at whiskerbrunch.org. A thank you page will appear to inform you that the donation was received. To give via text, reply to your welcome message with "GIVE" and a donation amount. For example, "GIVE 100" will make a $100 donation.
