Melo Trimble is the all-time leading scorer in Bishop O'Connell boys basketball history, finishing his high school career with an incredible 2,400 points. A dominant force on the court, he earned First Team All-Met honors as both a junior and senior, was named First Team All-WCAC for two years, and was recognized as the WCAC Player of the Year in back-to-back seasons. He was also selected as a McDonald's All-American, highlighting his status as one of the nation's top players. During the 2012-2013 season, he led his team to both the WCAC and Alhambra Catholic Invitational Tournament titles, finishing the year as the top-ranked team in the D.C. area. Trimble went on to receive a full scholarship to the University of Maryland, where he starred for three seasons before launching a professional basketball career.
