Party for a Purpose 2025

We are thrilled to be celebrating the vast accomplishments of our programs at the 2025 Party for a Purpose!

 This night of festivities, hosted at the fabulous the Great American Beer Hall in Medford, will include:

-Awards Ceremony highlighting the successes of our programs

-A wide variety of appetizers, Hors d'oeuvres, and treats

-Open bar

-DJ and live entertainment

-Silent auction

Event Date: Thursday, November 20, 2025
Event Time: 6:30pm - 9:30pm

Arrival and Parking: 

• Ride Sharing, carpooling, and public transportation is recommended. Parking is available in the lot at Great American Beer Hall and also along Mystic Avenue.
• Please look for signage and volunteers to assist you in the parking lot.
• ADA accessible parking is located at the front of the building. 
• The venue is right off of the MBTA 95 Bus.
  

We are excited to announce that the 2025 Party for a Purpose is hosted by Josh Wurster, meteorologist, 7News Boston!

Meet Your Host:

Josh Wurster is a meteorologist at 7News in Boston. Originally from Wisconsin, Josh moved to Boston in 2018 and is proud to call the city home. He and 7News are longtime supporters of Best Buddies. This summer Josh completed his fourth Best Buddies Challenge, biking to Craigville Beach in Hyannisport. When he isn't tracking winter nor'easters, Josh loves exploring everything New England has to offer - especially the outdoors and all four seasons, from skiing the Green Mountains in winter to hiking the White Mountains in fall and soaking up the summer sun on the Cape.

• 6:30pm: Check In begins
• 7:30pm: Awards Program begins
• 8:00pm: Silent auction ends (online and in person.)

Attire:

• Cocktail or business attire preferred.
