A HISTORY OF EXCELLENCE...
In 1990, LCCC Trustee Judge Joseph Cirigliano brought his close friend, Jack Nicklaus, to Lorain County for the first Jack Nicklaus Scholarship Golf Benefit. In return for his appearance, Jack required certain parameters for what the dollars raised would do and the financial goals to be met. Jack ensured the event would support the College and the success of its students by donating 100% of his fees back to the LCCC Foundation to create the Jack Nicklaus Scholarship Fund.
Since then, the annual LCCC Jack Nicklaus Scholarship Golf Benefit has raised over $1.33 million to help students achieve their educational goals at Lorain County Community College.
