FUND A NEED

Youth Services provides individualized, activities-based mental health care for children and adolescents in Chicago's northern suburbs. With a focus on the social-emotional well-being of our community's youth, we offer a variety of programs which address the individual needs of each child. Services include individual therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, socialization groups, after-school groupspride, sexuality education, academic support, juvenile diversion, financial assistance, and referrals.

Our Fund A Need program funds the vital programs of Youth Services. Every dollar makes an impact!

Here are just some ways your donation can help support the mission of Youth Services:

  • $100 can provide a therapeutic activity for a children's social skills group.

  • $150 can provide one mental health session to a child through our scholarship program.

  • $250 can provide utility assistance for a family for a month.

  • $500 can provide one risk assessment for a child exhibiting suicidal ideation.

  • $1,000 can pay for group programming bus transportation for a year to an under-resourced neighborhood

  • $2,500 can provide six months of mental health therapy for a child through our scholarship program.

  • $5,000 can provide mental health therapy services for a child for one year through our scholarship program

  • $10,000 can provide the Study Buddies program to 100 children for one year.
