Children's Museum of Atlanta is pleased to recognize Stephanie Blank as the 2025 Power of Play Award recipient.
This honor recognizes individuals who embody the Museum's mission through their leadership, innovation and passion for improving the lives of children in Georgia.
As an unwavering advocate for childhood well-being, Blank's efforts to support the lives of Georgia's youth have had a wide-reaching impact. Her longstanding commitment to Children's Museum of Atlanta has been invaluable. Blank chaired the 2003 capital campaign, which enabled the Museum to build its permanent space in Centennial Olympic Park and her continued support has greatly increased the impact Children's Museum of Atlanta has in our city.
With her passion for youth-related causes and in-depth knowledge of the non-profit sector, Blank is a highly respected force for good in Atlanta. She served on First Lady Sandra Deal's Children's Cabinet, First Lady Kemp's GRACE Commission, and chaired Governor Nathan Deal's Commission on Child Welfare Reform. She currently serves as the founding chair of GEEARS: Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students, co-founded Mothers and Others for Clean Air and has been involved with numerous other initiatives include Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, the REACH Georgia Scholarship Program, Jumpstart for Young Children Inc. and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta.
