Marburn Academy is proud to honor IGS Energy and the White family, whose unwavering commitment to our mission has enriched the lives of countless students and families since 2010. Over the past 15 years, their partnership has exemplified the true meaning of dedication, generosity, and community spirit.
The White family's contributions to Marburn Academy have been extraordinary, collectively exceeding $400,000. Their generosity has taken many forms, from a transformative $100,000 gift to our capital campaign to ongoing support as annual gala sponsors. Even in the smallest but most meaningful ways, like providing field day t-shirts for our students, the White family has shown that their commitment is deeply personal and extends to every facet of school life.
This dedication is mirrored in their personal involvement. Carolyn White, wife of IGS Energy CEO Scott White, served as a valued member of the Marburn Board of Trustees, offering her expertise and leadership when the school decided to expand the Maburn Education Collaborative into Columbus' west side. Megan Daughters, wife of IGS shareholder Doug Daughters and daughter-in-law to IGS co-owner, Cathy Conner (White), has contributed as a teacher and tutor, directly shaping the educational journeys of Marburn students.
As IGS President and CEO, Scott has championed philanthropy and inspired a culture of giving. Their personal and professional contributions to Marburn Academy have left an indelible mark on the school and its community.
On April 25th, we are thrilled to celebrate and honor IGS Energy and the White family for their exceptional partnership and generosity. Their leadership, involvement, and support have been instrumental in fostering Marburn's growth, shaping its future, and ensuring every student can thrive.
Thank you, White family and IGS Energy, for believing in Marburn Academy and for making a difference in the lives of our students and families. Your legacy of compassion and generosity is a cornerstone of our success.
