PHX Cat Cafe is a feline-based entertainment center and non profit cat rescue based in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona. Since 2022, PHX Cat Cafe has offered a unique business model, styled in the same fashion as those first located in Tokyo and New York City. The stated mission of PHX Cat Cafe has always been to provide a safe space for patrons to enjoy the company of free-roaming rescue cats, on an hour-to-hour basis. To date, PHX Cat Cafe has adopted out over 300 cats to loving owners and families, and - along with the help of their adoption partners - saved the lives of hundreds of others.As a result, PHX Cat Cafe has been recognized several times in the Best Of Phoenix category for exceptional work in the community. Alongside its mission to provide safe spaces for cats and those who love them, PHX Cat Cafe has also offered:
*Pet Adoption. Patrons may decide to adopt one of the café cats in order to enrich their family and provide sanctuary for a beloved new family member. Adoption fees range depending on the age of the cat, with proceeds being used to continue important rescue work.
*Cat-Themed Boutique. Patrons wishing to purchase cat-themed shirts, hats, mugs, artwork, jewelry and other cat-themed merchandise may do so from the unique store.
*Special Events. These run the gamut of scope, and have typically included popular, all-ages community events like Yoga With Cats, Drag-Queen Bingo, Comedy With Cats, Paint Nights, and Trivia Nights.
*Party Rentals. For patrons wishing to secure a truly unique experience, PHX Cat Cafe offers the ability to rent out space for birthdays, anniversaries, work outings, and a host of other specialized events.
PHX Cat Cafe's Downtown Phoenix location has services including:
*Coffee & Drink Services. PHX Cat Cafe uses the finest coffee roasted by local coffee roaster, Passport Coffee & Tea, to provide delicious beverages for patrons to enjoy at the lounge or at home.
*Cat Behavior Consulting Services. A major area of need within the industry, PHX Cat Cafe offers educational seminars and 1 on 1 consulting with Carrie on a variety of cat behavior topics. The seminars help cat owners understand how to modify their environment and cat's behavior in hopes to have less cats relinquished to shelters for behavioral issues.
*Community Outreach. Additional community assistance focused on topics such as Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR), assisting and volunteering with local rescue efforts, spay and neuter education, and a small scale cat food pantry are also scheduled within the next few years.
