SCAVENGER HUNT - HOW TO PLAY
From November 25th - December 8th, tour more than 50 beautifully decorated wreaths and play our fun Scavenger Hunt in downtown Cortez and Montezuma County! Hosted in collaboration with the Cortez Retail Enhancement Association, you'll have a chance to win your share of $1,000 in Cortez Cash Card prizes! This exciting event is sure to get you into the spirit of the season!
There are two ways to play: on your phone with the LoQuiz app, or with a paper Scavenger Hunt Passport.
Digital How To
1. Download the free LoQuiz app to your phone from Google Play or Apple App Store.
2. Scan the Scavenger Hunt QR code with the app (see below).
3. Enter your email and add participants.
4. Follow the interactive map to each wreath location and enter the tag number.
5. Collect as many points as possible by 12/10 (one point per wreath) and have fun!
Paper Passport How To
1. Stop by the Colorado Welcome Center (928 E Main St, Cortez) or participating businesses to pick up a Scavenger Hunt Passport or download at Trees24.GiveSmart.com.
2. Visit the businesses listed on the Passport to view more than 50 festive wreaths! Collect a code at each location you visit to receive one point per code.
3. Return Passport to Colorado Welcome Center by end of day December 8th. Make sure you have included your contact information at the top so you can be entered into the drawing!
All participants will be entered to win in a drawing of $1,000 worth of Cortez Cash Cards, courtesy of the Cortez Retail Enhancement Association!
