2025 Manhattan Campus Enhancement

HWISPA-NY 2025 Silent Auction

In 2023 and 2024, our community has been instrumental (pun absolutely intended; read on) in contributing toward the escalated progression of the administration's short and long-term enhancement goals for our Manhattan campus. HWISPA-NY has identified three projects on the school's wishlist that we'd like to expedite with your help.

Renderings of all projects and estimated completion dates anticipated by May 2025.

Music Room Renovations = $10,000

Improve the variety and quality of instruments, as well as the attractiveness and functionality of storage for instruments, sheet music, and other music-related materials.

Teaching Kitchen = $5,000

Create an additional teacher prep station to supplement upgrades already completed to accommodate Butter Beans Kitchen's on-campus lunch service program, including upgrading furniture and kitchen utensils for students.

Middle School Lounge = $20,000

Develop a comfortable student area, including designs and furnishings to work in groups or read and study individually.

And, of course, some leftover change for HWISPA-NY and The Navigator's Fund!

Academic support and enrichment programs operated by HWISPA-NY are only possible because of parent volunteers and supporters like you! Initiating and sustaining efforts for our class parties, teacher gifts, student clubs and extracurricular activities, parent and family socials, fundraising events, Field Day, and much more are powered by HWISPA-NY dues, donations and volunteers. Existing and future implementation of even more of the incredible ideas regularly presented by our parent community are always in the works, so many thanks for the continued support and ongoing generosity offered through your money, time, and talents!

The Navigator's Fund financially supports other organizations that provide Spanish or Mandarin language and cultural education for children at the preschool through 8th grade level in the New York City metropolitan area, including teacher training, student scholarships to attend language education schools or programs, teacher scholarships for coursework or degrees in second language instruction or early childhood or elementary education, Artists-in-residence or other musical/visual arts groups to expose the children to the art, music, and culture of Mandarin and Spanish speaking countries, and more!

So, what's been done so far?

Learn more about the progress of our 2024 goals!
