Our Future: A Stronger Dental Home
KCDC is currently working to expand our services to better meet increasing needs in the low income communities we serve. 
Our new clinic will feature:
•    3 open bay operatories
•    3 private room operatories to serve patients with special needs and disabilities
•    360 panoramic x-ray to decrease fears and discomfort
•    Private consultation room to address parent fears and offer more privacy
•    Staff enrichment areas
•    Prize area to offer positive reinforcement and corrective positive experiences
•    More space to accommodate more students and volunteer dental professionals

Why Expand?
•     Tooth decay has been identified as a global, national and local public health crisis and the number one chronic illness among school age children and leading cause of absences.
•     There is a direct link between fear of dentistry and tooth decay with 50% of children experiencing high anxiety and lasting mental health impacts due to negative experiences.
•     There has been a 40% increase in dental decay due to delayed treatment due to Covid
