A Concert for Peace: Violins of Hope Sponsorship Opportunities

Wharton Arts, located in Berkeley Heights, NJ, proudly presents A Concert for Peace with Violins of Hope, a tribute to resilience, hope, and the power of music featuring the New Jersey Youth Symphony and Grammy-winning Double Bassist Ranaan Myers in collaboration with renowned Luthier Avishi Weinstein who will showcase precious-stringed instruments that survived the Holocaust. The celebration includes a roundtable discussion of faith leaders, professors, artists, students, and a holocaust survivor on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 7-8:30pm at a local NJ synagogue and a performance on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 3pm at New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC).

The concert showcases the extraordinary Violins of Hope, precious stringed instruments that survived the Holocaust. These instruments, some of which were played by prisoners of ghettos and death camps, have been meticulously restored and serve as powerful symbols of survival and perseverance, bringing hope to audiences worldwide. New Jersey Youth Symphony, a program of Wharton Arts, will perform music by Bernstein, Frucht, Mahler, as well as a newly commissioned concerto for Double Bass by composer Paul Frucht, on some of the instruments from Violins of Hope, which will be on display.

Your sponsorship will be visible to an estimated 1,500+ family, friends, alumni, partners, and supporters, as well as 300+ performers, who will attend performances at NJPAC on January 12th. A limited number of sponsorship packages incorporating both hospitality and promotional benefits are available. Sponsorships help offset the cost of attendance for holocaust survivors and their aids at both events.
