ShinnyUSA and Devereux's Face-Off for Autism Tournament


Tournament Format

  • Each game will have one 30-minute running time period (including a few minutes for 
    warm up).
  • Divisions start at 7:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 12:00 PM, and 2:30 PM. 
  • Divisions will be created based on the competitive level of the team. This year we will also have a 50+ division. 
  • When registering, you do not need to know your entire team to register. You are able to return to the site as you start to fill out your roster. 
  • Home teams will wear dark jerseys, away will wear white (or a contrasting color). You do not need a team uniform to enter the tournament. 


Tournament Rules: 

  • There are no referees; players will make offsides calls and they will be adhered to if 
    called (anything really close, however, should not be called).
  • In the event of an accidental hook, trip, etc., play will continue unless the offending 
    team has the puck; in this situation, the offending team will give the puck to the other 
    team and they will regroup in their own or the neutral zone.
  • There will be no icing (though intentional icing is discouraged), and play will continue if 
    the puck hits the netting behind the net.
  • If the goalie covers the puck or if the puck leaves the playing area, all offensive team 
    players need to leave the offensive zone in order to allow the defensive team time to 
    initiate play (once all have left the zone, they can then re-enter immediately). After 
    goals, the scoring team should regroup at the center red line
  • Play will immediately stop in the case of an injury.


Block Party Information: 

  • Before or after your division, come join us for a Face-Off Block Party located outside of the rink. 
  • Events Include: Kids Moon bounce, ax throwing, dunk tank, wrecking ball, craft table, cornhole, live music, food trucks, and more! 
  • Teams are encouraged to invite families and friends to join. 
  • Each team will receive ticket vouchers for food and drinks. Activities will be free for all players and guests. Additional food and drink tickets will be available to purchase for family and friends.
