Nicole Pierre Posivak has been an invaluable member of the Fine Arts Boosters at Bishop O'Connell High School for the past two years, serving with dedication and passion as the organization's Secretary. Her commitment to the arts and to the students who benefit from these programs is unwavering, and her service has been integral to the continued success of the Fine Arts community.
Nicole is a strong advocate for all fine arts students, consistently prioritizing their needs and helping create opportunities for them to shine. She has generously volunteered her time in numerous ways, including acting as a trip chaperone for the Music Department's trip to Orlando, where her support was felt by students and staff alike. Her presence at events, such as the New Family BBQ Bash, where she represented the Fine Arts Boosters in consecutive years, demonstrates her deep commitment to fostering a sense of belonging and community.
Above all, Nicole's willingness to serve others reflects her character. Whether she's organizing events, providing logistical support, or simply offering her time, she consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that the Fine Arts programs at Bishop O'Connell thrive. Her son, Stephen Posivak, is a current junior at the school, and Nicole's active involvement is a testament to her belief in the importance of a well-rounded education, where the arts play a vital role in shaping the future of all students.
The Fine Arts Boosters are deeply grateful for Nicole's selfless contributions. Her work is not only a service to the school community but also a lasting legacy for the students who benefit from her unwavering support
Nicole's commitment to youth and service extends to her professional life as well. She currently works at the Office of Children's Issues in the Directorate of Overseas Citizen Services for the U.S. Department of State. And she has supported her Foreign Service family throughout their six overseas assignments.
