SILENT AUCTION BIDDING
- You will be able to bid upon registering on the auction website.
- An item number will be displayed for each item. You may bid on an item by submitting your bid via the Givesmart website.
- Minimum bids and minimum increases will be no less than the amounts indicated on the Givesmart website. After your bid has been submitted, it may not be deleted. Bid entries may not be changed.
- If a bid does not comply with the minimum bid or minimum bid increases, we reserve the right to delete the bid and award the item to the highest legitimate bidder, even if that bid is lower.
- You can guarantee that you will be the winning bidder by filling in the "Buy It Now" option.
- The silent auction will begin at approximately 9:00am PST on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Bids will be accepted on each item until the designated closing time of 8:00pm PST on Saturday, June 1, 2024 when you will be automatically checked out of silent auction bidding.
- Bidding must stop when the "auction official" closes the bidding. The person who places the highest bid or purchases the item via the "Buy It Now" option, at the time the bidding ceases, is obligated to purchase the item. Auction attendants will be on hand via email to facilitate and answer questions. If there is any dispute an "auction official" will determine the winning bid.
- All Silent Auction items are final sale and non-refundable. Non-transferable items are marked as such. All items are purchased at the winner's own risk. The winner must adhere to all deadlines listed on their auction certificate.
LIVE AUCTION BIDDING
- Place your bids carefully. A bid is entered by raising your auction card and being recognized by the auctioneer.
- The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall or will be the purchaser. The auctioneer reserves the right to settle any and all disputes, complaints, misunderstandings, errors and sales at their discretion. The auctioneer will have the sole and final authority to determine the successful bidder either on-site or by proxy.
- A runner will bring the payment form and certificate to you, indicating the item you have purchased and the amount of your winning bid.
- The purchaser will confirm the sale by signing the receipt, which constitutes a legal contract to buy.
- All live auction items are final sale, non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Tiger Woods Charity Event Corp. (dba TGR LIVE / TGR Foundation) reserves the right and ability to refuse service or distribute goods due to misconduct, illegal acts or omissions, and/or for non-payment by the Sponsor or Sponsor Guest(s). The Foundation does not discriminate based on the grounds of color, gender, race, religion or national origin.
- Payment must be made on the night of the event for live auction purchases.
- Proxy bid forms must be submitted by 4:00 PM on the day of the auction sale and the credit card number must be valid. A TGR Foundation member will acknowledge receipt of form and validation of credit card. Please email Sarah Rapps at srapps@tgrfoundation.org for the Live Auction proxy bid form.
FORMS OF PAYMENT
- Payment must be completed with in 48 hours of close of the auction on June 1, 2024 at 8:00pm PST. Credit cards on file will automatically be charged if payment is not completed within 48 hours on June 3, 2024 at 8:00pm PST.
- Purchases can be made with check, American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
- All sales are final. Items purchased may not be exchanged, refunded or returned for cash.
SHIPPING CHARGES
- Shipping charges on all items will apply.
OBTAINING ITEMS
- Successful bidders will be contacted to confirm the address provided for shipping.
- TGR Live is not responsible for any shipping delays be the selected carrier.
- Shipping charges may apply and will be noted on the item page if applicable.
MISCELLANEOUS
- TGR LIVE has endeavored to catalog and describe the property correctly, but all property is sold 'AS IS.' No statement contained in the catalog or made orally at the sale or elsewhere shall be deemed a warranty, representation or assumption of liability.
- TGR LIVE reserves the right to withdraw any item from sale at any time.
- Auction winners will receive a donation letter for tax purposes approximately four weeks after the auction.
- Please note some auction items are non-transferable.
- Duplicate gift certificates or items will not be given if original is lost, stolen or damaged.
DISCLOSURE
- If you have any questions about the tax deductibility of items purchased, you should consult your tax advisor. It may be difficult, if not impossible, to establish the fair market value of one-of-a-kind gifts. In the absence of any reliable fair market value or regulations to implement the current tax laws, the IRS is likely to determine that the purchase price would be considered a deductible charitable contribution.
- TGR LIVE/TGR Foundation reserves the right and ability to refuse service or distribute goods due to misconduct, illegal acts or omissions, and/or for non-payment by the Sponsor or Sponsor Guest(s). The Foundation does not discriminate based on the grounds of color, gender, race, religion or national origin.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
No warranties are made with respect to the value or quality of the merchandise or services auctioned. All auctioned items are sold 'AS IS.' TGR LIVE makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, concerning the use and safety of the goods or services sold, including without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The buyer bears the entire risk of the quality, performance and safety of the donated items. TGR LIVE has not tested or inspected the goods and services for their quality and safety. Some activities being auctioned are generally considered "high risk." The purchaser shall consider this and assume all risks upon purchase and upon engaging in the activities. TGR LIVE shall not be responsible for any injuries or damage, which may result from a buyer's use of the auctioned items or services or from participation in services or activities purchased. Participation in the 2024 Tiger Jam Live & Silent Auctions constitutes a waiver of claims against TGR LIVE / TGR Foundation, its employees, agents and representatives for any damage, loss or injury from, connected with, the use or receipt of any item or services auctioned.
