How's this going to work?  

Auction

Bidding on the available items will open 24 hours prior to the event starting and will wrap up about 4:00pm on the day of the event. 

The auction will be online only. Please bring an Internet capable device to participate the day of. 

All bidding will be handled through our GiveSmart platform.

Where applicable, we will have the items at the event for the winner at the end of the auction.

Introductions

Doors open at 1 pm on September 14th.

The event begins in earnest about 1:30 pm with an introduction to Sacred Selections, and the mission to promote adoption and remove the financial barrier to adoption for Christian families.

Trivia Challenge

The Trivia challenge will begin about 1:45 pm and will consist of up to 8 rounds.

Each round will focus on a specific area and consist of about 10 questions each.

Our trivia host will explain the exact sequence of events, but generally it be as follows.

  • Our host will ask each team to nominate one person on the team as their responder.
  • The responder will text our host with the team's name.
  • With each trivia round the teams will create a new text with their answers to each question.
  • At the end of the round the team's responder will send in the team's answers.
  • Our host will then review the "right" answers to each question and provide each team's scores.
  • Whichever team has the most points at the end of the challenge wins!

 

Wrap Up

About 4:00 will declare a winner for the Trivia challenge and hand out the prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

We'll begin closing up the auction and getting our auction winners checked out.
