Implementing Partner in Tanzania

Kisioki is a 2016 alumnus of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders. Born and raised in Tanzania, in 2010, he joined the International Collaborative for Science, Education, and Environment bringing clean stoves and solar electric systems to the Maasai of Tanzania. As the ICSEEĀ“s Director, he manages programs such as the Maasai Stoves and Solar Project, oversees the training and logistics of Women's Installation Teams and supports the Monduli Women's Pastoralist Organization. 

Kisioki completed solar grid training at Solar Energy International in Colorado. While in the US, he travelled to Washington, D.C., for high-level meetings with the World Bank, USAID, and the National Academy of Sciences to discuss scaling rural electrification. Additionally, he has spoken at MIT on women's empowerment and community development.

In partnership with GFW, Kisioki pioneered the WISALA project in Tanzania, being among the first to believe in its potential.
