Liz Kaplow is a visionary entrepreneur, trusted advisor to the C-suite and champion for
communications practitioners across every industry. As Co-Founder & CEO of the
award-winning agency, Kaplow Communications, Liz reinvented the practice of public relations
with a focus on brand storytelling. Liz has been honored by New York Women in
Communications with its coveted Matrix Award and by PR News with a Top Women in PR
Award. Liz was inducted into PRWeek's Hall of Femme, awarded by Girl Scouts as a Woman of
Distinction, and is an honorary member of Global Women in PR. Liz also serves on the board of
Cosmetic Executive Women. Liz graduated with honors from Vassar College.
As Co-Founder, Evan Jacobs has served as CFO and COO of Kaplow Communications since
its inception. He also spearheads advancement efforts for all employees and propels the
importance of positive workplace culture, as Kaplow has consistently earned a spot on several
lists of Top Places to Work. Evan served on the Board at Project Morry in various positions for
nearly 20 years, including Treasurer for over 10 years. Prior to Kaplow, Evan practiced real
estate law with the firm he co-founded, Jacobs & Moskowitz. As a native New Yorker, he
attended Horace Mann, received an AB from Vassar College and a JD from Hofstra Law School.
Having met at Echo Lake in 1973, they were inspired by the leadership and vision of Amy and
Morry Stein. Today, their dream is to keep creativity and arts at the forefront of the Project Morry
experience, providing new generations with the gifts and rewards of self-expression. And to this
end, they are launching the Gloria Kaplow Arts and Creativity Program, extending the creativity
and confidence imbued in Liz by her mother, lifelong artist Gloria Kaplow.
