#5: Allgo
Allgo is a statewide organization that celebrates queer people of color by building, educating, and mobilizing communities toward a just and equitable society. Join Allgo as we decompress and reduce our levels of stress and anxiety. Making art with our hands can help rewire our brains to learn new patterns and adapt to live in the flow, heal, grow, and keep an open mind. In this hands-on workshop we will learn how to free form copper - a very friendly and forgiving technique used to move, bend, and form shapes out of copper wire using a variety of everyday and accessible tools. No worries if you're a novice, this is a guided activity! At the end you will have small scale sculptures to take home!
