You are bidding on a unique guided birding experience along the Hudson River, led by Clearwater Board Member, Steve Stanne.

While the Hudson's charismatic bald eagles command much attention, there are plenty of other birds to see along the river, which boasts numerous stops on the New York State Birding Trail. Longtime river educator Steve Stanne will offer a spring migration excursion to your choice of either the Piermont Pier, which extends a mile out into the Tappan Zee with marsh and shallows favored by waterfowl, shorebirds, and wading birds, or Iona Island and Doodletown in Bear Mt. State Park. The latter is famed for its array of colorful wood warblers. Steve is the lead author of The Hudson: An Illustrated Guide to the Living River; he also edited the Hudson River Almanac weekly natural history journal from 2003 through 2017.

This item must be scheduled at the discretion of the bidder and Steve Stanne in April or May of 2024.
