About Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island

Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We are dedicated to making every eligible child's wish come true.

The joy began when our organization fulfilled its first wish: a family trip to York Beach for a young girl named Colleen from Wilmington, MA, with Niemann-Pick disease. Since that first inspired wish, we have served over 10,000 children in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. More than 500 children in Massachusetts and Rhode Island are diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions every year, based on information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Our vision is to grant the wish of every medically eligible child.
