EVENT INFORMATION

What is Fur Ball?

Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region invites you to the most magical event of the year, Fur Ball "Wizard of Paws- A Night in the Emerald City" on Saturday, May 11th, 2024 at DoubleTree by Hilton. Located at 1775 E Cheyenne Mountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80906

Fur Ball is one of Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region's annual signature fundraising events. This gala includes appetizers, full-course dinner, silent and live auctions, and a parade of adoptable animals! All proceeds help the homeless and abused animals cared for by HSPPR.

Attire:

Black Tie Optional. Dress in your finest emerald greens or ruby reds to honor the iconic characters of this timeless tale. Whether you choose to embody the elegance of Glinda the Good Witch or the whimsical spirit of Dorothy, we encourage you to embrace the elements of Oz in your finest formal attire. Black tie is optional, but the magic is mandatory! We can't wait to see you there, sparkling in the colors of Oz for an unforgettable evening.

Valet:

Complimentary valet parking is available for all Fur Ball guests courtesy's of Phil Long For of Motor City! Simply pull up to the DoubleTree by Hilton banquet entrance, and the friendly valet team will take care of the rest. Enjoy your event without the worry of parking.

Dinner Options:

Meat Entree: Seared chicken breast with a flavorful rosemary herb sauce served with asparagus and potato souffle

Vegan Entree: Mediterranean skewer with seasonal veggies, tofu, and a side of falafel with a delicate romesco sauce

*Don't forget to select your meal preference and list any dietary restrictions by 5/3/2024. Any guests who have not selected a meal preference by the deadline will be given the Meat Entree.

Auction:

Whether you're able to join us at the event or not, you can still help animals in need by participating in this year's silent auction. All bidding is done from your smart phone or computer so you can bid from anywhere in the world, starting 5/4/24!
The Silent Auction will run through the close of Fur Ball on Saturday, May 11 at approximately 9:00 p.m. A 5-minute countdown clock banner will be featured on the site so that you can place your final bids.

Winning bidders in attendance at Fur Ball must check-out and receive a "PAID" stamp before picking up their items in the hallway after the event. For winning bidders not in attendance at Fur Ball, post-event auction pick up is at Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, Business Office entrance (just to the left of the adoptions entrance) on Thursday, May 16 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship items.
