Steve Kien was a dedicated volunteer and supporter of Special Equestrians, Inc. We are humbled and honored to have shared time with him.

Special Equestrians provides therapeutic horseback riding and equine assisted activities to children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities, ages 4-97, from Lee, Charlotte, Glades, and Hendry counties. These activities make a marked difference in the lives of our participants. Our tuition covers less than 25% of the cost to participate in services. Almost half of our participants receive scholarships. We are humbled to celebrate Steve's life through the Steve Kien Special Equestrians, Inc. memorial fund. His loving wife, Nydia Kien, will work with our team to fund a special project on the farm in Steve's honor. No act of generosity is too small to make a difference.
